Working Principle
The SHI Series Hot Flow Switch is based on the thermal principle. Inside the sealed probe, there are two platinum thermal resistors. One resistor is heated and used as the detection resistor, while the other is not heated and works as the reference resistor. When the medium begins to flow, heat is taken away from the heated resistor, causing its resistance value to change. The difference between the two resistor values is then used as the basis for judging the flow rate.
