Working Principle
The SHF Series Small Float Ball Level Switch uses the relative position between the internal magnetic reed switch and the magnet inside the float to realize ON/OFF level control. In the horizontal duck-bill float structure, when the magnet approaches the magnetic reed switch, the contact point turns ON, and when the magnet moves away, the switch changes from ON to OFF.
In the vertical mounting structure, the ring magnet inside the float moves with the liquid level. When the ring magnet is close to the center of the magnetic reed switch, the contact point turns ON. When the ring magnet leaves the center position, the magnetic reed switch changes from ON to OFF. With this simple magnetic sensing principle, the SHF series provides reliable liquid level switching for compact equipment and small tank applications.
